Copying actions
You can copy and paste actions, in the Edit Action dialog, with the and buttons. Or, you can use the Copy and Paste Special commands in the worksheet in Design Mode.
With the and buttons, you copy and paste the individual actions that comprise an action definition. With the Copy and Paste Special commands, you copy and paste an entire action definition.
In the Edit Action dialog
Select an action and click . You can paste the action to another action in the report, or to an action in another report. Or, you can paste it into the action from which you copied it. So, if you are defining an action with many modes and complex inputs and parameters, you can create one action, paste it several times and edit the individual copies as necessary.
To paste an action, click .
In the worksheet
In Design Mode, right-click the cell containing the action to copy. Select . Right-click the cell to which you want to copy the action and select . Select the option in the Paste Special dialog.
You cannot use this method to copy an action from one report to another.
