Creating dependent relational selections with a hyperblock

You can control the data of a relational selection in a hyperblock through other objects, such as an additional hyperblock. The other display object may be based on a multidimensional or on a relational list.

Both databases must have corresponding values or data fields. For example, the multidimensional data source has a Region dimension, and the relational datasource a Country column, and one or more regions has the same name as countries in the relational datasource.
