Managing names

  1. In Design mode, select Edit > Named Range Manager and perform one of these actions.
    Action Description
    Create a name Click New and specify a name. In the Refers to field, specify what the name refers to. A name can refer to a cell, a range of cells, a formula, or to a constant.

    Names are case-insensitive and must begin with a letter or underscore. Remaining characters can be letters, numbers, or underscore.
    Edit a name Click Edit.
    Delete a name Select an existing name and click Delete.
    Specify that, if a name conflicts with a style sheet, the style sheet takes precedence Clear the Override style sheet check box.
  2. Click Close.
