Creating cell notes

Cell notes are used to comment individual values in the database. You can remove protection from a cell and specify a RWN formula. Then, in View mode, you can enter notes into the cell. Or, you can use the NOTEWRITE function. In NOTEWRITE, your note is the first argument of the function.

To create notes with the RWN function:

  1. Remove cell protection from the cell containing the data to be annotated.
  2. Create an RWN formula in the cell.
