General tab
This table shows the options of the General tab.
| Option | Description |

| Name | By default, command buttons are named ButtonN, where N is a sequential number. You can specify a different name. |
| Caption | Specify a label for the button in the Text field. The
label will not be added to the Table of Names and Texts. To select a
text from the translation table, or to create a translatable name, click
the browse button adjacent to the Text field. The Texts dialog is displayed. Note: In View mode, if the caption is too long for the
button, both the beginning and end of the text are trimmed. But,
in the web, only the end of the text is trimmed.

You can specify an action to execute when the button is clicked. Click the browse button to open the Edit Action dialog and specify an action. In View mode, clicking the button executes the action. Otherwise, select the option to refresh the report when the button is clicked, or select . |
