Managing cell-level access permissions on the Permissions tab

  1. Select Dashboards > Data Integrations > OLAP Modeling.
  2. Select the model.
  3. In the navigation tree, expand the Cubes node and click a RAC or MDAC cube for which to manage cell-level permissions.
  4. Click the Permissions tab.
  5. Optionally, to refine the Permissions grid view, perform one or more of these actions:
    • In the Filters panel, select appropriate dimension values.
    • In the grid, click the three-dot icon next to the dimension's name and select one of these options:
      • Select Elements: Select required elements of a dimension.
      • Swap with: Select a dimension with which to swap places in the row or column.
      • In the toolbar, click Filter and select a permission by which to filter the grid.
  6. Modify a cell-level access permissions in the grid in these ways:
    • Click a cell in the grid and select a permission.
    • Click the Grid Click Mode button in the toolbar, select a permission, and click appropriate cells in the grid to apply the selected permission. This is a faster method of assigning permissions to multiple cells.
  7. Click Save.
