Managing cube access permissions on the TABACC Permissions tab

  1. In OLAP Modeling, select Cubes > #_TABACC.
  2. On the Properties tab, ensure that the Enable Cube Access Control option is enabled and a valid data table is linked from the DEPM_MOD_TABACCTABLE table.

  3. Click the Permissions tab.
  4. In the grid, select one or multiple cubes for which to manage permissions.
  5. On the Permissions pane, perform one of these actions to grant access permissions:
    Action Steps
    Grant an access permission to a single data role
    1. Click an icon in the Permissions column for the role.
    2. Select the required permission for the role.

    The selected permission is assigned to the role.
    Grant an identical access permission to multiple data roles
    1. Select multiple data roles for which to set up identical access permission.
    2. Click an icon in the Permissions column for one of the selected roles.
    3. Select the required permission for the roles.

    The selected permission is assigned to all selected roles.
  6. Click Save.
