In Financial Reporting, you generate report summaries with the GenAI engine. A summary is created with a dedicated option that generates a formatted report based on the selected business prompt and report context. The generated content provides financial insights and doesn't change underlying data, report definitions, calculations, or layouts.

The absence of GenAI doesn't affect the Financial Reportingfunctionality.

You can use GenAI in Infor Capital Planning to create capital project descriptions. Based on defined project attributes, an initial description is generated by GenAI and you can apply, edit, or regenerate it as required.

You can also use GenAI to support the analysis of project implementation and provide insights into the financial status of capital projects.

You can integrate GenAI into custom applications or extend existing applications with prompt-driven processes. Examples include predictive analysis, financial status summaries, and identification of trends, outliers, and potential issues that otherwise require extensive manual analysis.

You can also configure sequences of GenAI processes and connect GenAI Agents to support defined workflows, such as model analysis, scenario generation, and output data writeback to existing or new data areas in Infor EPM applications.

• Create new report: Generates a complete Ad-Hoc OLAP report based on a natural language prompt. The agent selects an appropriate data source, defines rows and columns, and applies required selections.
• Edit existing report: Based on user instructions, modifies the current report, for example, by adding dimensions, changing filters, drilling down or up, transposing layouts, or adjusting suppression settings.
• Summarize or analyze report: Performs an analysis of the current report by explaining structures, highlighting key results, or suggesting possible optimizations.

Through the GenAI Assistant Chat integration, you can query Infor EPM data with the natural language in the Infor Chat. This enables the retrieval of concise answers to executive financial questions and access to structural information about OLAP models. You can ask follow-up questions within the same session to refine results. Infor EPM processes can also be registered as custom GenAI agents, enabling automation of multi-step tasks through conversational interactions.

The GenAI Assistant Chat provides access to AskOLAP, a dedicated agent for direct conversational access to OLAP data. With AskOLAP, you can explore cube schemas, dimensions, hierarchies, members, attributes, and cell values through the natural language. Typical use cases include querying revenue by region, exploring available databases and cubes, and retrieving specific cell values across dimensions.

You can invoke GenAI agents and prompts programmatically through ION API Gateway, enabling integration of GenAI capabilities into automated workflows and external systems. This allows Application Engine processes to l perform tasks such as data analysis, report generation, and model interaction without a direct user interaction.
