GLCMAIN cube dimensions

The GLCMAIN cube contains financial information for such entities as Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss data, and includes KPI calculation rules that depend on the configuration defined in Business Modeling.

To work with the Financial Reporting like standard reports, you must configure mandatory dimensions. Optional or unused dimensions you can left unconfigured.

You can add new properties or attributes only in Business Modeling as custom properties. Business Modeling publishes the new properties as attributes to Attribute table 3 in the dimension. Attribute table 2 is for translations, Attribute table 1 contains the standard properties

Note: You cannot bypass Business Modeling with Application Engine Process Editor or other modeling tools. Business Modeling has full control over the GLCMAIN cube. Custom cube rules (and their order) are preserved.

If dimensions are marked for optional usage and are not configured in Business Modeling, data are stored in the cube on N.A. element. Business Modeling publishes unused or optional dimensions with TOTAL and N.A. elements underneath.

XPADCONFIGSET	Configuration Sets	Configuration management dimension used as a bracket for different used structures or alternate hierarchies in a business object. Currently the SET_001 fixed element is used. Not configurable.
XPADVERSION	Versions	Versions or scenarios, such as: Actual, Budget, Forecast Configurable in Business Modeling.
XPADSYSTEM	System	System configuration. Fixed element Local is used. Dimensions are excluded for Perspective Definitions. Not configurable.
XPADPROCESSLEVEL	Process Levels	Process level hierarchies bound to Fiscal Calendar usage with Opening Balances and Movements. Not configurable.
GLDGROUP	Groups	Group dimension. Data are stored on N.A. element. Group dimension is already published from Business Modeling from business applications when Financial Consolidation is used Currently not used.
GLDENTITY	Entities	Entity hierarchy. Mandatory dimension.
GLDINTERCOMPANY	Intercompanies	Intercompany as a mirror of entities. Currently already published but not yet used in user interface or perspectives.
XPADSTRATEGY	Strategies	Strategic planning for Budgeting & Planningor future improvements in Financial Reporting. Data are stored on N.A. element. Currently not used.
GLDPROJECT	Projects and Project Categories	Project management. Optional usage.
XPADDECISIONPACKAGE	Decision Packages	Decision packages for Budgeting & Planning Data are stored on N.A. element. Currently not used.

XPADCURRENCY	Currencies	Multi-Currency support. Data stored on *_LC elements. Global Sign converted values via Cube Rule to ISO Codes. Data stored on the elements with suffix LC. Global Sign Feature convert the values via Cube Rule to the corresponding ISO Codes.
XPADUNITOFMEASURE	Unit of Measure	Used to separate data regarding Financial Amounts like Functional Amount, Reporting Amount, Transaction Amount, Percentage, Ratio. Optional usage.
GLDDETAIL	Schedule Details	Schedule detail hierarchy. Includes Total hierarchy and separate hierarchy for each configured schedule.
GLDACCOUNT	Accounts	Local Chart of accounts hierarchies can be mapped to one Group Chart of Accounts plus Metrics, KPIs, and Decision Tree.
XPADTIME	Time	Usage of different Fiscal Calendar such as: Regular Calendar or Fiscal Calendar Previous Year. Structures are built in separate alternate hierarchies.

Note: The XPADUNITOFMEASURE is used as the measure dimension.
