Homepage KPIs
To configure homepage KPIs, select and click the Homepage KPIs tab. All available KPIs are displayed and grouped by categories in the Available KPIs list.
To add a KPI to the Financial Reporting Home page, select a KPI from the list, click the drag and drop icon, and move the KPI to the board. You can select the check box of the KPI to add to the board. A maximum of 10 KPI cards can be displayed on the Financial Reporting Home page.
To remove or change the position of a KPI card on the Financial Reporting Home page, you can drag and drop the KPI card or click the icon on the KPI card. The color indicates an increase or decrease in a relevant KPI.
To show KPIs in the list, you must upload and publish the default KPIs in Business Modeling.
To create the KPI metrics manually, select and click . In the KPI list, those metrics are in the Active status. After you create the KPI metrics, publish them in Business Modeling.
Global and user-based KPI configuration
On the Homepage KPIs tab, you can select either a global Default (for all users) or private <User ID> option. KPIs settings depend on your role and the selected option.
GL Modeler role capabilities
When you select the Default (for all users) option, these scenarios happen:
- A GL Modeler can adjust KPI cards.
- A GL Modeler can drag and drop each KPI card.
- The configuration applies to all users who select Default (for all users) or sign in for the first time.
- Each change in the cards is saved immediately.
- The Default (for all users) option is active on the homepage. Selected options are applied immediately.
When you select the <User ID> option, these scenarios happen:
- A GL Modeler can adjust KPI cards.
- A GL Modeler can drag and drop each KPI card.
- These adjustments are saved as a user‑specific configuration. Therefore, when a GL Modeler adjusts KPI cards, the changes are stored for that specific user only.
- Each change to cards is saved immediately.
- The <User ID> option is active on the homepage. Selected options are applied immediately.
GL User role capabilities
When you select the Default (for all users) option, these scenarios happen:
- A GL User can view KPI cards, but can't adjust them.
- A GL User can't drag and drop KPI cards.
- The Default (for all users) option is active on the homepage. Selected options are applied immediately.
When you select the <User ID> option, these scenarios happen:
- A GL User can adjust KPI cards.
- A GL User can drag and drop each KPI card.
- Adjustments are saved as a user‑specific configuration. Therefore, when a GL User adjusts KPI cards, the changes are stored for that specific user only.
- Each change in the cards is saved immediately.
- The <User ID> option is active on the homepage. Selected options are applied immediately.
