Viewing a journal list
You can view journals that were imported, or created manually.
Note: Users with the group accountant role can view entity journals or group journals, or both. Users with the entity accountant role can view only entity journals.
- If you are an entity accountant, select Journal Management > Entity Journal Management > Posting Journals > Entity Journal List.
If you are a group accountant, select Journal Management > Group Journal Management > Posting Journals > Group Journal List.
- If you are an entity accountant, specify a configuration set, version, one or multiple periods, and one or multiple entities.
If you are a group accountant, specify a configuration set, version, and period. Also specify an entity or group, or both to view the required types of journals. You can specify multiple periods, entities, and groups.A table with a list of journals is displayed. You can use the table header filters or additional filters to narrow down the displayed information.Note: The configured number of displayed decimal places doesn't affect filtering results. Journal debit and credit values can contain up to 12 decimal places. Filters return accurate results even when the specified filter value is rounded, for example, to three decimal places, and the stored value has higher precision. This table shows examples of filtering result matches for different decimal precision configurations when the specified filter value is rounded and the stored journal value has higher precision:
