C-Suite roles

This section describes roles that are specific to C-Suite Dashboard.

Access to the C-Suite Dashboard is controlled by user role permissions defined in EPM Administration. You can be assigned to multiple roles.

Note: To access the C-Suite Dashboard you must have assigned either C-Suite User or CFO role.

Access to specific dashboards and reports is determined by a user's organizational permissions and assigned roles.

These default C-Suite roles are available:

  • C-Suite User
  • These Financial Reporting application system roles:
    • AdministratorRole
    • DesignerRole
    • ModelerRole
    • MasterRole
    • ViewRole

C-Suite User

Users with the C-Suite User role can access the C-Suite dashboards and C-Suite reports. A C-Suite User has access to all financial reports and the Ad-hoc Report widget.

These global permissions of the C-Suite User role are available:

  • View application
  • View reports
  • View dashboards
  • View OLAP
  • Use Ad-hoc Report

These object permissions of the C-Suite User role are available:

  • View the C-Suite dashboard
  • View detailed reports the dashboard jumps to
  • View needed Application Studio reports that are used by the dashboards
Note: The CFO role uses the same permissions as the C-Suite User role, except for the use Ad-hoc Report permission.

IFS role

For organizations that use IFS authentication, the FRAPP-C-Suite role is mapped to the C-Suite application role.

These portal permissions of the FRAPP-C-Suite role are available:

  • View C-Suite widgets
  • View Financial Reporting application
