Creating a strategy

Note: Each strategy requires at least one assigned objective before you can publish in Business Modeling.
  1. Open Financial Reporting and then open Business Modeling.
  2. Select the Strategy/Objective business object.
  3. Click Add.
    The Add Caption_BO_StrategyObjective dialog box opens.
  4. Specify this information:
    Id
    Specify a unique ID for the strategy.
    Name
    Specify a clear and descriptive name for the strategy.
    Note: 

    Do not assign a parent to the strategy. Strategies must always be created as top-level elements in a hierarchy.

    Example:

    ID: STRAT_GROWTH

    Name: Growth, Operational Excellence, Sustainability

  5. Confirm and save the strategy
    The new strategy is displayed in the Strategy/Objective list and is ready for an objective assignment.
