KPI Account Group

The KPI Account Group integration table stores KPI account groups and their characteristics.

Use KPI account groups to:

  • Categorize and structure financial accounts for KPI calculations.
  • Provide a mapping layer between financial accounts and KPI.
  • Support mappings from base-level financial account elements.
Note: KPI account groups do not support mappings from consolidated parent elements and require the same account type as the mapped financial accounts.

KPI Account Group business object is used only by Financial Reporting application.

This table shows the properties of the KPI Account Group business object and uses these abbreviations:

  • BP: Budgeting & Planning
  • CO: Financial Consolidation
  • FR: Financial Reporting
  • WB: Workforce Budgeting
  • R: Required
  • U: Used but optional

ParentID If applicable, an identifier of the parent KPI account group.
Note: A corresponding record with the specified ID must exist in the KPI Account Group table. The record can be either a newly created entry that is not published to the database or an existing entry that is stored in the database.

Weight Controls the roll‑up to parent elements.

Base elements use the default value of 1.

OrderPosition Position of a KPI account group in the resulting dimension. integer U
Type The financial account type of a KPI account group.

These values are allowed:

  • A: Assets
  • L: Liabilities
  • R: Revenues
  • E: Expenses
  • Q: Equity

GrowthImpact Positive or negative growth effect on the parent KPI account group.

These values are allowed:

  • P: positive impact
  • N: negative impact

The default value for the parent KPI account group indicates no growth impact.

The default values of a base KPI account group are:

  • Assets: Positive impact.
  • Liabilities: Negative impact.
  • Income: Positive impact.
  • Expenses: Negative impact.
  • Equity: Positive impact.
