Mapping accounts to Financial Consolidation group accounts

If Financial Consolidation is activated, you must link each base account that is relevant to Financial Consolidation to a group account. This is required for loading fact data for consolidation. Parent accounts are not required to be mapped to group accounts.

Select Business Objects > Accounts.
Ensure that the Group Account Mapping column is enabled.
1. Click Manage Properties.
2. On the Standard tab, select Group Account Mapping and then click Close.
Select the account to map.
Click the lookup in the Group Account Mapping column and select the group account to map to.
If no group account ID is specified, data is loaded to the Unassigned element of the Group Account dimension.
