Troubleshooting
This list shows how to troubleshoot some issues when adding child elements:
Add Child button is disabled
Cause: Multiple rows or no rows are selected.
Solution: Select exactly one parent element.
A red exclamation mark is displayed in the Status column
Cause: The element name is empty, duplicated, or contains invalid characters.
Solution: Hove over the icon to view the error, and then correct the element name.
A Circular Reference error is displayed
Cause: The proposed hierarchy creates a loop.
Solution: Expand in the error dialog and resolve the conflicting relationship.
Changes disappeared
Cause: You clicked , or the session timed out before you saved the changes.
Solution: Click to persist hierarchy changes.
