Configuring the statement of capital expenditures

You can select accounts for the Statement of Capital Expenditures report.

To show the capital expenditure-related values, you must map the Property Plants and Equipment and Accumulated Depreciation-related accounts on the Statement of Capital Expenditures tab. The capital expenditure values are inherited from the selected accounts.

  1. Select Dashboards > Configuration > Financial Reporting Configuration and click the Statement of Capital Expenditures tab.
  2. Specify this information:
    Entity
    Select an entity. Only entities to which your role has access and have been configured in Business Modeling are available.
    Perspective
    Select a perspective.
    Chart Account Structure
    Select a chart of the account structure.
    Property, Plants and Equipment
    Select one or multiple accounts for the property, plants, and equipment. Define a caption that is displayed in the Statement of Capital Expenditures report.
    Accumulated Depreciation
    Select one or multiple accounts for accumulated depreciation and define a caption that is displayed in the Statement of Capital Expenditures report.
