Metrics Overview report mechanism
The metrics table in the Metrics Overview report is dynamically generated based on the selected strategy, objective, and metric context that are inherited from the C-Suite dashboard.
The Metrics Overview report displays KPIs, KVIs, and drivers in a hierarchical structure.
These mechanisms apply when you access the report from the dashboard:
- Expandable or collapsible metric levels
- Views for the reporting and comparison periods
- Analysis of absolute and percentage differences with optional sparklines and trend indicators
- Ability to switch between periodical and YTD views
- Switches to show or hide specific columns
- Filters to focus on specific dimensions
The table is interactive and reflects user selections made in the dashboard or within the report, it supports single-objective and single-metric views with consistent formatting and color coding for differences.
