widget in theHow can I restore the Top & Bottom widget to its default view?
To return the widget to its default view, start a new session, this will automatically restore all widgets to their default state.
Optionally, you can perform these steps:
- Manually remove the chart sections 2 and 3 to clear any custom views.
- Go to chart section 1 and locate the Analyze By function.
- Set the viewed dimension to Entity
Why does the Analyze By function sometimes replace my zoomed-in dimension instead of adding to it in the Top & Bottom Analysis report?
When you use the Analyze By function, the current dimension in the Data Grid is replaced by the new one, and the previous dimension moves to the Filter Panel with an active filter. If the dimension was zoomed in, the zoomed element becomes the filter.
Why are the difference columns empty for some metrics?
If the selected metric is a percentage (for example Operating Profit Margin), the difference values are intentionally not shown.
How can I view metrics for more than one entity at the same time?
Currently, only single selection is supported. You can view metrics for one entity, business unit, region, or other business object at a time.
Why am I unable to drill into the source system directly from the report?
Drill-back functionality is currently unavailable in the Metrics Overview Report.
Does the report remember my filter changes?
Yes, filter changes are preserved when navigating between reports. However, only key selections, such as objective, metric, and view mode are retained when returning to the dashboard.
Why does the dashboard load with a different objective than I expected?
When the C-Suite dashboard loads, it defaults to the first strategy and the first objective associated with that strategy. The order of objectives in the widget is dynamic and based on performance trends: objectives with the weakest performance appear first. As performance data changes over time, the order may shift, which can result in a different objective being preselected even if the strategy remains the same.
How can I compare metrics across fiscal years?
Currently, you can only compare metrics across months.
Is it possible to set a specific objective as the default view?
Currently, the customized views are not supported.
Why is the Waterfall chart not visible?
The Waterfall chart requires sufficient historical data. If the comparison range can not be filled with enough months, the chart is hidden automatically.
Example:
If your trend chart displays 15 periods, you need at least 15 months of historical data for comparison.
How can I analyze performance by Product if it is not in the Filter Panel?
In the Top & Bottom Analysis report, dimensions can be displayed only in one place at a time, either in the Filter Panel or the Data Grid. If Product is in the Data Grid, it is not visible in the Filter Panel.
In the Metrics Overview and Trend & Projection reports, all dimensions are displayed in the Filter Panel. If a dimension is not shown, it is probably not included in the enterprise perspective that determines the list of available dimensions.
Why am I unable to compare current and previous periods in the waterfall chart?
The Waterfall chart requires sufficient historical data. If the comparison range can not be filled with enough months, the chart is hidden automatically.
Example:
If your trend chart displays 15 periods, you need at least 15 months of historical data for comparison.
Why are some cells in the Trend & Projection report light gray?
Actuals are shown in light gray for future periods after the reporting period, they are not final yet. The current and past periods are shown in black.
Forecasts are light gray for periods before the reporting period, and black after it.
