C-Suite roles

This section describes roles that are specific to C-Suite Dashboard.

Access to the C-Suite Dashboard is controlled by user role permissions defined in EPM Administration. You can be assigned to multiple roles.

Access to specific dashboards and reports is determined by a user's organizational permissions and assigned roles.

These default C-Suite roles are available:

  • CFO role
  • These Financial Reporting application system roles:
    • AdministratorRole
    • DesignerRole
    • ModelerRole
    • MasterRole
    • ViewRole

CFO role

Users with the CFO role are automatically directed to the C-Suite after they log in.

These global permissions of the CFO role are available:

  • View application
  • View reports
  • View dashboards
  • View OLAP

These object permissions of the CFO role are available:

  • View the C-Suite Dashboard
  • View detailed reports
  • View needed AppStudio reports that are used by the dashboards
Note: To have full access to Financial Reporting, a CFO user must also be assigned the GL user role.

IFS role

For organizations that use IFS authentication, the FRAPP-CFO role is mapped to the CFO application role.

These portal permissions of the FRAPP-CFO role are available:

  • View C-Suite widgets
  • View Financial Reporting application
