Limitations of the Open Ad-hoc report action
Some slice features that are defined in Application Studio are
partially supported in the Ad-hoc Report user interface. Those
features are not editable in the Ad-hoc Report user interface but
applied during calculations.
This table shows existing limitations when you use the Open Ad-hoc report action:

Sorting | You can define sorting only by attributes in the slice definition on hierarchies. You cannot define any other sorting criteria on hierarchies. You cannot define any sorting criteria on axes. |
Segments | These features apply only to the first segment in the Ad-hoc Report user interface:

Inverted hierarchy | Not supported in the Ad-hoc Report user interface. Rows are converted to the financial mode. Columns are converted to the standard hierarchy. |
Slicers aggregations | Not editable in the Ad-hoc Report user interface. |
Custom MDX axis definition | Not editable in the Ad-hoc Report user interface. |
