Importing a process package

To import an Application Engine process package, you must be connected to an application database of the farm.

Note: The import of a process package works only in content development mode. It means that the Import button on the toolbar is restricted to Infor content developers. To import your processes in normal mode, you must use the option from a menu bar. Select Repository > Import from Folder.

If you try to import a package with a new version of the protected process, then the import fails and is rolled back.

Select Repository > Import or click Import on the toolbar.
In the dialog that opens, navigate to the storage location of an Application Engine process package.
To start the import of the Application Engine process package, select the process package with file type *.app_processes or *.biapplication and click Open.
A message displays that the processes were successfully imported. Processes that already exist in the application database of the farm are not imported. Click Details > Show Details to see the list of processes that have been imported and further details.

Note: All existing processes are treated as a part of the application.
