Repository and applications

To support maintenance and administration of repository and OLAP content, the concept of applications has been introduced.

An application consists of these components:

• One project
• One dashboard catalog
• One report catalog

  Required only if Application Studio reports are used.

• One OLAP database (optional)
• One OLAP Permission Management

  Required if the application includes an OLAP database.

There is only one repository per farm. The repository can include any number of applications.
