List objects

List objects display the elements of the lists to which they are linked.

These objects are list objects:

  • Combo boxes
  • List boxes
  • Option buttons
  • Hyperblocks

Options to insert each type of object are on the Objects toolbar and in the Insert menu.

The option to insert a hyperblock displays the Create Hyperblock dialog box. Alternatively drag a dimension or hierarchy from the Database Structure pane into the report.

Note: The Objects toolbar and Insert > Objects menu include Command Button, Text, Web Extension, and Lookup, which are not list objects. Command buttons have some features in common with list objects.
