Enabling and disabling filters and sorts

The Enabled check box enables or disables all filters and sorts in the Filter and Sorting panes. But you can enable or disable them individually.

To disable a filter or sort, click it and select False from the Enabled list in Filter Settings or Sorting Criteria Settings. Or, use a formula or variable by selecting <Edit Formula> from the Enabled list. Specify the formula in the Edit Formula dialog.

For example, in the Edit Formula dialog you might reference a global variable that contains the values True or False.
