Publishing a widget

  1. Add a standard widget to your workspace or select an existing widget.
  2. Click the menu icon and select Advanced > Publish.
    The Edit Publish Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  3. Click the Basic tab and specify this information:
    Title
    Specify the title that will be displayed.
    Use Widget Catalog title as widget title
    Note: Do not select this option. Leaving this option unselected overrides the widget catalog title and ensures that the title comes from the content instead.
    Description
    Specify a description of the widget.
    Standard size
    Select a standard size for the widget if you do not want to use the default dimensions.
  4. Click the Settings tab and specify this information:
    Enable settings
    Select to enable the remaining settings on the tab. These settings control which fields are available when users configure the widget.
  5. Optionally, click the Translations tab and specify this information:
    Language
    Select a language in which to translate the widget's title
    Title
    Specify the translation of the widget's title in the selected language.
    Description
    Specify a description and click Add.
    Note: You can also import previously exported translations by clicking Import and selecting the exported zip file.
  6. Optionally, click the Permissions tab and select whether to grant access to the widget to a group, to a role, or to a specific user. Specify one of these levels of permission for the selected group, user, or role:
    • Configure
    • View Only
    • Disabled
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click Publish in the title bar.
