Workspaces

You can set up a workspace that is tailored to your needs by combining and configuring widgets from the widget catalog. The widget catalog contains widgets from each application that runs in Infor OS Portal.

Infor EPM widgets provide links to more detailed information, which is typically presented on a dashboard. Communication between Infor EPM widgets on a workspace is not supported.

From the Infor EPM perspective, workspace widgets display reports that are developed in Application Studio. You can add the Infor EPM widget to a workspace and configure the widget to display any report that you have created.

A workspace has two areas. Widgets that you add to the upper colored area are designated as banner widgets. Banner widgets are formatted to draw users' attention to high value or high interest information. Widgets in the body of the page have no special formatting.

You can interact with a report in a widget depending on how it is designed. That interaction might be, for example, selecting a different view of the data, or selecting a different type of chart.
