Creating dashboards using Self-Service

You can combine several reports and charts on a dashboard.

Add your first widget by selecting any chart or analysis on the Start page. Alternatively, you can create widgets by dragging from the Self-Service content connection.
Add further widgets to your dashboard as you require, by dragging from the Self-Service content connection.

Note: By default, the widget occupies the entire dashboard. You can resize and reposition widgets. Click Edit Dashboard. For full instructions, refer to “Layout concepts.”
Optionally, click the Lock / Unlock icon to lock or unlock reports on the dashboard to limit editing and functionality, according to user permissions.
If the lock icon is colored blue, then the dashboard is locked to end users and functionality on widgets is limited. However, if the lock icon is gray, then the dashboard is open to end users, with increased functionality, according to the permissions of the end user.
