Adding columns to a staging database table from a query

While running a load query, you might notice that the target table for the query lacks some columns. You can extend a table with missing columns by running a load query.

  1. Select Dashboards > Data Integrations > Relational Modeling.
  2. From the Target Connection list, select Staging.
  3. Select the table and click the Load Queries tab.
  4. From the Application list, select the application that you are modeling.
  5. Select the load query to run.
  6. Select Load > Load Columns and Data.
  7. In the Load Columns and Data dialog box, the columns to be added are displayed.
  8. Specify whether to add only missing columns or to add missing columns and load data.
  9. Click Load.
