Creating a subset manually

We recommend that you create subsets manually if subsets do not change frequently. Subsets are stored in the DEPM_MOD_ELEMENTINSUBSET schema table.

Select Dashboards > Data Integrations > OLAP Modeling.
Select the model and then the dimension and hierarchy for which to create a subset.
On the Elements tab, select one or more elements in the grid and click Save as Subset.
Specify a name for the subset and click Save.
To view the subset, click the Subsets icon, select the subset from the list, and click Apply. All members of the selected subset are displayed in the grid.
