OLAP Modeling
All dimensions from the DEPM_MOD_DIMENSION object definition table are listed. Click the root, Dimensions node of the list to show the dimensions in a grid. The Security column indicates which dimensions have dimension access control and for which, therefore, you can manage element permissions. Select a dimension in the tree and then, on the Attributes tab, add, edit, or delete attribute fields.
You can add, edit, and delete elements and their attribute values, create (static) subsets, and, if a dimension uses dimension access control, manage permissions for elements. The Elements tab shows the elements hierarchically, based on the data tables, and referenced from the DEPM_MOD_HIERARCHY object definition table. A column is shown for each attribute of the dimension, as defined in the DEPM_MOD_DIMENSIONATTRIBUTE object definition table. To enable changes to element types, order position, and weight, follow the column name recommendations for element and relations tables. See the "Element table" and "Relations table" topics. Hierarchies that are based on views or which exceed the limit of 1,000,000 elements are not displayed.
All cubes from the DEPM_MOD_CUBE object definition table are listed. Click the root, Cubes node of the list to show the cubes in a grid. The Security column indicates which cubes have multi-dimensional access control. Select a Data type cube to manage its rules.
