Exporting and importing Infor EPM business applications databases

When exporting Infor EPM business applications' OLAP databases, you must ensure that the exported and imported OLAP objects fit the business model in the target application.

To address this, if the database to be imported was created with Business Modeling or Designer, a warning is displayed. To proceed, administrators performing imports must confirm that they have checked for inconsistencies. They must also confirm that the import does not include individual dimensions and cubes from older versions of the application to which the database belongs.

Note:  In all cases, it is the responsibility of the administrator performing an import to ensure the consistency of the OLAP database with its model and to create appropriate database backups before importing.
