Adding content to stories

A story contains an ordered sequence of charts and other elements such as headlines, texts, and separators.

You can change the order of elements in a story but layout and formatting are controlled by the application.

To add elements to your story, you must be in Edit mode and have editing permissions.

  1. Tap a story on the side menu and tap Edit or create a new story.
  2. Tap Add content button and select Charts or Others.
  3. Tap to select one of these elements:
    Chart
    This element shows any report from any available content connection.
    Headline
    This element opens a dialog box where you can add a headline to your story.
    Paragraph
    This element opens a dialog box where you can add text to your story.
    Separator
    A separator is a horizontal line which you can use as a visual separator in your story.
    The element that you tap is added after currently selected element. If no element is selected, a new element is added at the end of the story. You can edit a particular element, move it up and down, or delete it. Tap an element to show a context menu.
