Copying widgets

You can save time when you copy and reuse widgets that require elaborate configuration. If you configure a widget and want to use it again on a different dashboard, you can save a widget copy. Widget copies store the widget and preserve the widget configuration for reuse.

Unlike screenshots, widget copies remain interactive and display the latest data when you open them.

  1. Click the Edit icon on the application toolbar.
  2. Select the widget to copy and click the Copy icon on the widget toolbar.
    The widget is saved to the Widget Copies tab on the side menu.
    To add the widget copy to your dashboard, click the Add Content icon on the toolbar, click Widget Copies and select the widget.
