Resizing dashboards

By default, automatic sizing is switched on and the dashboard occupies 100 percent of the screen. To optimize dashboards for viewing on different mobile devices, or at different screen resolutions, you can specify the height and width of the dashboard. Optionally, you can use the current screen size.

  1. Open the dashboard and click the Edit icon on the toolbar.
  2. Click the Actions menu on the dashboard toolbar or click the File tab on the Mac menu bar.
  3. Select Properties and click the Layout tab.
  4. Click the width or height to change and select one of these options.
    Option Description
    Automatic Use this option to specify the width and height of the dashboard in percentages. You can also use the automatic sizing option to specify the maximum width or height of the dashboard.
    Fixed Switch the Fixed option off and specify a value in points.
  5. Optionally, enable the option to use dashboard margins. By default, margins are set to 10 points.
