Saving dashboards

  1. To save a dashboard, perform one of these actions:
    Option Description
    Mac menu bar Click the File tab on the Mac menu bar and select Save.
    Save icon Click the Save icon on the dashboard's toolbar.
    Actions menu Click Actions > Save.
    If there are unsaved changes in the current dashboard, you are prompted to save the dashboard. A blank dashboard is then displayed.
  2. When you save a dashboard for the first time, the Save Dashboard dialog box is displayed.
    To save the dashboard:
    1. In the location section, browse to the folder in which to save the dashboard and click Choose.
    2. Specify a dashboard name. Or, to replace an existing dashboard, select the dashboard name from the list.
      The same name, without spaces or special characters, is used as the unique name. You can specify a different unique name.
    3. Optionally, specify a description of the dashboard.
      Dashboard descriptions are displayed in dashboard properties.
  3. Click Save.
