Manage KPIs

By default, on the Manage KPIs page, all statistical accounts and base, foundational, and calculated metrics are listed.

Uploaded and manually added KPIs are displayed as not active. To activate them, select an appropriate check box in the Active column. Only after you activate a KPI and publish the model, can the KPI be used by Financial Reporting.

You can define which sign a KPI is displayed in a report and which sign is used for a KPI increase. To show and increase a KPI with a positive sign, select the check boxes in the Positive Display Sign and Positive Variance Increase columns. To show and increase a KPI with a negative sign, clear the check boxes in those columns. By default, the check boxes in both columns are selected.

In the Type column, you can verify where a specific metric comes from. For example, from an account mapping or base metric.

If required, you can change the category of KPIs in the Category column.
