Editing a journal

You can edit only the journals with a status of Saved. You cannot edit posted journals or recurring journals.

You can post journals or create recurring journals only if the debit and credit amounts balance and all required information is specified.

On the Journal List page, select the journal to edit.
Click EDIT JOURNAL.
On the Journal Editor page, edit the required details in the Context panel or in the table, or both.
For information about what to specify in Journal Editor, see steps 2-6 in the "Creating, saving, and posting an entity journal" topic for entity journals or the "Creating, saving, and posting a group journal" topic for group journals.
To save the journal as a draft, click Save as Draft. The journal is displayed on the Journal List page with a status of Saved.

To post the journal, click Post Journal. The journal is displayed on the Journal List page with a status of Posted.

To delete the journal, click Annul Journal.

To save the journal as a recurring journal, click Create Recurring Journal. The journal is displayed on the Recurring Journal List page.
