Configuring the Landing Page
- Select Modules > Consolidation > Core and click Data Management.
-
In the Consolidation Data Management wizard, customize the Financial Consolidation's Landing Page by
performing any of these actions:
- Add or delete lanes. Click Add Lane and specify the lane name or select the existing lane in the grid and click Delete Lane. You can delete only custom lanes. Added lanes are displayed on the Landing Page if they have at least one card.
- Add cards. Select a lane and click Add
Card. Specify the card name. If required, select the
check and the status by which the card is controlled. Optionally, add
pages linked to the card by clicking Add
Link. You can add multiple linked pages.Note: A page can be linked to a card only if a link to the page is displayed in the application's navigation tree. Sometimes, links to custom reports that you have created in Application Studio and added to a custom application are not displayed in the navigation tree. To solve this issue, perform these steps in Business Modeling:
- Select Custom Extensions > Reports.
- Select Consolidation from the application list.
- Search for an existing report in the navigation tree or add a report by clicking Add Report.
- For the existing report, click the report and switch on the
Show in
navigation option in the panel with the report's
properties.
For the added report, specify the required report parameters and switch on the Show in navigation option in the Add Report wizard. Click Save.
- Publish the model.
- Edit or delete cards. Select a card and click Edit Card or Delete Card. You can delete only custom cards.
- Hide lanes, cards, and linked pages from view on the Landing Page. Click the cell in the Hide column for the appropriate lane, card, or linked page.
- Specify or edit the order in which the lanes, cards, and linked pages are displayed on the Landing Page. In the Sort column, specify 1 for each lane, card, and linked page that should be displayed first. Specify 2 for each lane, card, and linked page that should be displayed second, and so on.
See "Managing calculation rules" for information on how to use a custom cube rule in place of a standard calculation.
