Consolidation Versions, Checks, Levels, and Adjustment Levels

Note: If you have any existing records for versions, checks, consolidation levels, and entity levels in the consolidation core module's data management, then they are automatically migrated to consolidation business objects. The records are synchronized to business objects with the first publishing after the application update.

Consolidation business objects are displayed only if the Financial Consolidation module is enabled. These consolidation business objects are under Financial category:

  • Consolidation Versions
  • Consolidation Checks
  • Consolidation Levels
  • Adjustment Levels

Consolidation business objects have one or multiple built-in business object records (BORs) that cannot be deleted and for which the IDs cannot be changed. You can modify only the BORs' names, their translations, and the Allow Rollover property for Consolidation Levels and Adjustment Levels of the Journal type. You can set the type for the Adjustment Levels business object. The type can be set only once when the business object is created and cannot be changed later.

The Consolidation Versions and Consolidation Checks business objects can have parent-child relationships. The Consolidation Levels and Adjustment Levels business objects are flat lists.

You can add custom BORs to a model manually.

You can use the Reset to Default option in the contextual toolbar to bring back the default values of names, language translations, and the Allow Rollover property for the in-built BORs if you have changed these values. The Reset to Default option is not available for custom BORs. If you select custom BORs together with the built-in BORs in the grid, then the Reset to Default option is not displayed.
