Viewing preceding journals

A journal can be created by the rollover of another journal. If a journal has been created in this way, then you can see its origin by viewing all its preceding journals.

  1. On the Journal List page, select the journal for which to view preceding journals and click PRECEDING JOURNAL. Or, click the arrow icon in the Carry Forward column.
    The PRECEDING JOURNAL button and the arrow icon are displayed only if a journal has been created by the rollover process.
  2. The selected journal and all its preceding journals are displayed. You can expand the journals to see their details.
