Page and report icons

This table describes the toolbar buttons, icons, and options for pages and reports:

Option Description
Export icon Export the page to a file such as .csv, .pdf, or .ppt. For some pages, only an export to a .csv file is available.
Modify context icon Modify the context.
Move left icon / Move right icon Scroll to the left and right to view the process steps on the Landing Page.
Maximize icon Maximize the context pane.
Minimize icon Minimize the context pane.
Copy icon Copy the values from the grid.
Expand list icon / Collapse list icon Expand or collapse a list.
Expand icon / Collapse icon Expand or collapse additional information on a page.
Search list icon Open a search list.

On the Participation Information tab on the Ownership Change Request page, open a dialog box in which to calculate amortization for the selected account.

Decimal settings icon Open a list with options to increase, decrease, and set decimals.

You can set up to 10 decimal places.

Columns icon Open a list with the grid columns. You can select columns to view in the grid or remove columns from the grid view.

For some reports, you can select these options to show in the grid:

  • ID - Name: The ID and the name of a business object are displayed in a column. For example, RU0001 - Genesis Cars.
  • ID: Only the ID of a business object is displayed in a column. For example, RU0001.
  • Name: Only the name of a business object is displayed in a column. For example, Genesis Cars.
  • If you select both the ID and Name options, then the ID and name of a business object are displayed in two separate columns.

On some pages, you can also find other options, for example, to add, manage, and show the analysis, to suppress zero columns, or to enable an inverted column hierarchy.

More icon Jump to a specific page from a card on the Landing Page.

On several Financial Consolidation pages, open a list with different options, including an option to reset user settings.

Note: Whenever a new feature is added to the Financial Consolidation reports, user settings are automatically reset to the default settings. When you open a report for the first time after an automatic reset, you will see the User Settings Were Reset message.
Expand and collapse icon Open a list with options to expand and collapse all grid rows.
Add item / Expand icon Add an item or expand a row or column in a grid.
Collapse icon Collapse a row or column in a grid.
Calendar icon Open the calendar to select a date.
Add attachment icon Add an attachment.
Account details icon Open a list of account details that are displayed in the grid. You can select specific details to display only for the accounts that have those details.

On several Financial Consolidation pages, open a list with different options such as Show Table Filters, Clear All Filters, and Reset User Settings.

Note: Whenever a new feature is added to the Financial Consolidation reports, user settings are automatically reset to the default settings. When you open a report for the first time after an automatic reset, you will see the User Settings Were Reset message.
Suppress zero rows icon Enable zero suppression on rows. Any row that contains only zero values is hidden. If the row contains at least one non-zero value, the zero values in that row are still shown.
Delete icon Delete an item.
Show selected items icon Show only selected items.
Account details icon Access account details.
Account details with values icon Access account details. A check mark indicates that at least one data entry is specified.
Group view icon Open a list with groups by which to display grid items. For example, by journal ID or date.
Clear icon Clear all filters in the grid, for example, on the Journal List page.

If you enabled zero suppression on a grid's columns or rows, column header filters, or scaling, then the x icon is displayed in the toolbar, next to an icon that represents an enabled function. Click x to disable the function.

Import icon Import a file.
Upload file icon Select a file to upload.
Create recurring journal icon Create a recurring journal on the Journal Editor page.
Add journal line icon Add a journal line on the Journal Editor page.
Delete journal line icon Delete the selected journal line on the Journal Editor page.
Success icon / Success icon Specified data is complete.
Error icon / Error icon There is an error or missing data.
Incomplete data icon There is incomplete data.
Editable page icon The data entry page is editable.
Not editable page icon The data entry page is not editable.
Add to Favorites icon Add the page to Favorites pane.
Drag and drop icon In the Group Hierarchical Segmentation Analysis report, drag and drop the segment to the area with a plus icon. Detailed information for that segment is then displayed in the grid.
View preceding journal icon From the Journal List page, view a preceding journal or journals.
View icon Switch between different views. For example, between the Entity Balance Sheet, Entity Assets, Entity Liabilities, and Entity Income Statement pages, or, when customizing the Landing Page, between the views of the Entity and the Group tabs.
Options icon Open a menu with different options. For example, Immediate Writeback on the Data Entry and Group Cash Flow Adjustments pages to enable or disable immediate writeback of values to the database. Or, Show Table Filters, Clear All Filters, and Reset All Settings on the Entity Balance Sheet page.
Rows icon Open a menu with different options for rows. The options may vary on different pages. For example, these options are available:
  • Indent Accounts and Show Hierarchy to show different account views.
  • Suppress Zero Rows and Advanced Filter on the Data Entry page.
  • Row Height and Begin Expand on Level on the Entity Balance Sheet page.
  • Suppression options such as No Suppression (default), Suppress Empty, and Suppress Zero & Empty in the Intercompany Matching Detail and Transactions Data Entry Detail reports.
Hide maintained rates Hide rows that contain maintained rates on the Historical Rates Check page. To undo, click Show All.
No Scaling Open a list with options to use 1'000 scaling, 1'000'000 scaling, or no scaling for the values in the grid.
Records per page Select the number of rows to display. For example, 10, 20, or 50.
Page Click the right and left arrows to scroll through pages. Or, specify a number in the box to go to that page.
