Adding a value
You can add value to a selected cell in your report. If you enable
writeback for the new value,
INFOR.GET.VALUE
formula is added to the selected cell. If you disable
writeback, an INFOR.READ.VALUE
formula
is added. If you select multiple elements, the sum of selected elements is displayed in
the cell.

Select a cell in which to add the formula.
Note: To use Excel Integration to add formulas, ensure that Excel is not in cell-editing mode. Entering the edit mode results in a formula write error.
- Click One Value.

Select a data connection from the list or click the Reference a cell icon to
select a reference cell.
The reference cell must contain a valid unique name for a data connection. For example, BIBestPr_BestPracticesOLAP. You can only use a single cell reference.
- Optionally, if you selected a data connection from the list and the data connection uses a Domain cube, select a domain from the list. Domains enable you to show a limited number of dimensions in the report. The default selection is No Selection.

Optionally, if you selected a domain, select filter driver
dimensions such as a configuration set, ledger, accounting unit, or
entity.
The filter driver dimensions differ depending on the selected domain.

Select a cube from the list or click the Reference a cell icon to
select a reference cell.
The reference cell must contain a valid unique name for a cube. For example, Analysis. You can only use a single cell reference.Note: The selected data sources are kept in the data source pane until you refresh the add-in's user interface (UI). Right-click the UI and select Refresh.

Select one of these options:
Option Description Add Coordinate from Cell Select the coordinates from a cell. Select Elements from Hierarchy The default element of the selected hierarchy is selected. To change the element, click the hierarchy and select the non-default option. You can then select one or more elements in the elements panel. To select all visible elements, expand the elements and select the check box in the list header. You can also click the Search icon to look for specific elements. To expand the elements panel, click the arrow that is located next to the hierarchy. -
To search for a dimension or hierarchy, click the Search icon that is located above the
dimensions and specify all or part of a search term in the search box.
If a search returns hierarchies that belong to the same dimension as the searched hierarchy but which do not match your search term, the Show button is displayed. Click the button to view those hierarchies.

To change the displayed element attribute, click the Display Format icon in the elements
panel.
By default, the element caption is selected. In the elements panel, you can also click the Element Visibility icon to select which elements to show or click the Search icon to look for specific elements.Note: Changing the display format does not affect the generated formula.
