This topic describes the user interface elements of Excel Integration.

Each time you launch the add-in, it is displayed on the Home tab at the right of the ribbon. You can customize the ribbon and change the position of the add-in.

This table shows the buttons and icons that you use on the Infor EPM and Manage Report tabs within the add-in ribbon:

Add horizontal elements icon Insert horizontal elements.

Writeback mode icon Enable writeback mode.
Recalculate workbook icon Recalculate a workbook.
Recalculate sheet icon Recalculate a sheet.
Recalculate selected area icon Recalculate a selected area.
Show or hide task pane icon Show or hide the task pane.
Infor icon Log in to Infor EPM or get online help.
Log-out icon Log out from the Infor EPM.
Online help icon Access online help.
Customer Portal icon Open the Infor Customer Portal.
About icon Access information about Infor EPM.
Edit report icon Edit the Ad-hoc report.
Transpose icon Switch dimensions between rows and columns axis. The element and structure selections are transferred with the dimension.
Move to rows Move the hierarchy to the row axis. When there is a single hierarchy on axis, you cannot move it.
Move to columns icon Move the hierarchy to the column axis. When there is a single hierarchy on axis, you cannot move it.
Move to filters icon Move the hierarchy to filters section. When there is a single hierarchy on axis, you can move it to rows or columns.
Keep selection icon Keep only selected elements in the report definition.
Zoom in icon Drill down to details of the selected element. The report shows children of selected elements.
Zoom out icon Drill up the whole level above the selected element.
Expand icon Expand selected elements.
Collapse icon Collapse selected elements.
Convert slice to cell-based icon Convert an ad-hoc slice report to a cell-based report based on the INFOR.READ.VALUE or INFOR.GET.VALUE formula. The active cell must be within the report area.
Switch option icon Access the switch option.
Horizontal vertical icon Switch between vertical and horizontal element formula generation.
Read-only formula icon Write formula icon Select between read-only and read and write formula generation
Call reference icon Reference a cell
Autofill icon Select all default hierarchies of unused dimensions in the Filters section of an ad-hoc report.

Unused dimensions are those from which you have not manually selected any hierarchies for filters, columns, and rows.

Edit icon Edit filters, columns, and rows in an ad-hoc report.
Delete icon Remove a selected hierarchy or selected elements from an ad-hoc report.
Display format icon Select a display format for a list of elements or for a resulting formula.
Element visibility icon Select which elements from a list of elements are visible.
Suppress zero rows icon Enable zero suppression on ad-hoc report rows, columns, or on both. Any row or column that contains only zero values is hidden. If the row or column contains at least one non-zero value, the zero values in that row or column are still displayed.
Search icon Perform a search.
More icon Open a list with options.
Break hierarchy icon In an ad-hoc report, enable break hierarchy on the selected elements within a hierarchy. If enabled, the selected elements are displayed in the report in the same order as in the Selections section.
Indent icon In an ad-hoc report, enable element indentation on the selected elements. If enabled, the selected elements are indented in the report based on their level within a hierarchy.
Show Navigation icon Expand a pane with data source options.
Collapse icon Collapse a pane with data source options.
