Analysis 1-5 and 7-11
The Analysis 1-5 and 7-11 business objects can be used for custom or industry-specific structures. Their use is optional and depends on specific business use cases.
The Analysis business objects are independent of each other. Sub plans can use the Analysis objects if the sub plan cube and the main cube use the same Analysis object for the same purpose.
If only Budgeting & Planning is used and Financial Consolidation is not used, the Analysis objects can be used instead of the Segments objects or the other way around. The Analysis and Segments objects reflect the same concept.
The use of business data from the Analysis 1-5 and 7-11 business objects is optional in Budgeting & Planning and Workforce Budgeting. In Financial Consolidation, that data is not used. But you can map data from the Analysis integration tables to a segment as a custom business object during the consolidation core configuration. In Financial Reporting, you can map data from the Analysis 1-5 and Analysis 7-11 integration tables as a custom business object in the Business Objects Configuration integration table.
This table shows the properties of the Analysis 1-5 and 7-11 business objects and uses these abbreviations:
