Organizations
Typically, organizations represent cost centers. A cost center can reflect an organizational structure of any type within an accounting unit. A cost center can contain departments, for example.
In Infor EPM, organizations are often used for approvals in the hierarchical workflow.
This table shows the business applications in which the use of business data from the Organizations business object is required:

Financial Consolidation | Not used. But you can map data from the Organization integration table to a segment as a custom business object during the consolidation core configuration. |

Workforce Budgeting | Required. |
