Importing and publishing a model

The Import and Publish option imports a .bmexport file and publishes it.

Caution: 
All existing structures are replaced. Custom objects are not affected.
Caution: 
Legal entity ownership data and entity and group journal data is deleted during the import. Therefore, before you import and publish a model, ensure you have a backup of the BIFarmConsolidation SQL database in which ownership and journal data is stored. You can either contact Infor to do that for you or export ownership and journal data from the application yourself. When you export journal data, ensure that you select all entities and groups in the context. See "Exporting ownership change requests with or without participation information" and "Exporting journals".
  1. Select Manage Model > Export & Import.
  2. Click Import and Publish.
  3. Click Replace.
  4. Browse to the .bmexport to import and click Open.
