Adding metrics manually

After you click Add, a dialog box is displayed and contains fields for the required and optional values. Required fields are indicated by asterisks.

The Id, Name, and Format String fields are common to all metrics. You can specify a translation of the name in each supported language.

You can change the specified values in the grid on the Foundational Metrics and Calculated Metrics pages.

  1. Depending on which metric to add, select Metric Management > Foundational metrics or Metric Management > Calculated metrics.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Specify values in the required fields.
  4. Optionally, in the Translation column, specify translations of the name in one or more supported languages.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Save.
