Import and Reset options

You can import a model from a file and then publish it, or you can reset the current model to its initial state and then publish.

Both options delete dimensions and cubes that are owned by Business Modeling.

Although Business Modeling-owned dimensions are deleted, any custom cubes that contain them are not. Because a Business Modeling-owned dimension might be replaced by one with a different structure, there is a risk of losing data. To prevent this, you can cancel the process and use the Export option to export the cube values to a file, which you can import later. In such cases, the file to be imported must first be adjusted to accommodate the changed structure.
