Foundational metrics
On the Foundational Metrics page, you can add and upload KPI Account
Groups. Subsequently, you can map KPI Account Groups to specific financial accounts on the
Accounts page.

You can map only base elements to financial accounts. You cannot map consolidated parent elements.
You must assign a financial type to each base element of a KPI account group. Only financial types can be assigned. After you map a base element to a specific financial account, a validation process verifies whether a KPI account group and a mapped account are of the same type. If not, then they cannot be mapped with each other.
To show or hide a hierarchy of elements of a KPI account group, switch on or off the option respectively.
In the grid, you can change the existing properties of metrics such as an ID, name, parents, type, format string, order, or OLAP ID.
